A Diamond & Doran Christmas: A short Story (The Diamond & Doran Mysteries Book 5)A Diamond & Doran Christmas: A short Story by Tracy Tonkinson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

For such a short story it seemed almost to have too many threads to the plot and too many characters to keep track of.
Overall an enjoyable enough read

Awakened HeartsAwakened Hearts by Susan Potts
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In this Pride and Prejudice sequel several years have passed since the marriages of Elizabeth and Jane. With Mary as the last of the Bennet sisters still at home, and determined to become a governess or companion. Then she is invited to Pemberley, her first ever visit. There she meets Georgiana Darcy and Brigadier Henry Fitzwilliam, cousin to Darcy. But can she come out of her shell and accept the friendships on offer.
A delightful story, well-written, lovely to read about Mary's emotional development. Just loved everything about the story and the characters.
This is now a re-read and I still loved the story

Where Angels Fear (Detectives Kane and Alton #5)Where Angels Fear by D.K. Hood
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Winter has come to Black Rock Falls, Montana, but the area may have another serial killer in its midst as Sky Paul disappears while her friend Ella Tate manages to escape. A coincidence or a connection to people who post personal items on social media.
It's for Sheriff Alton and her team to decide and investigate, meanwhile it is possible her cover has been compromised.
Another enjoyable thriller in this series with a good plotline and sub-plot where we learn more about the past of some of these characters.
