In this Pride and Prejudice variation August 1812 has arrived and Darcy and Bingley leave Longbourn after both have had their marriage proposals rejected. For Darcy this is the second time. The future brings happiness to Bingley with Georgiana Darcy what what about Elizabeth Bennet and Darcy.

DI Keith Tremayne is called out to a case of what can only be termed as spontaneous human combustion. But this will lead to the world of paganism and many more deaths. A bit of a strange read, but overall I enjoyed it. Curious about the next in the series.

A body of a girl has been found in the River Teme near the Dinham mill, obviously murder. But before they can investigate Stephen Attebrook, coroner and his asistant Gilbert Wistwode are recruited by elder brother William Attebrook to find his missing daughter Ida.
Another enjoyable story in this series.
