With the htrat of marriage to Mr Collins, Elizabeth Bennet flees Longbourn and arrives with the help of the Gardiners at Lambton where she is employed as a teacher on the Pemberley estate. So a quick start to the romance of Darcy and Elizabeth. We have high drama, a wicked Wickham, illnesses, possibly madness, bodily attacks and of course a foolish Lydia.
Readable but I was not really drawn into the story.
