The heir to an Earl of Axford has arrived in Nuala from Australia with his wife. Before travelling on to England. On a hunting trip there is a death, and Inspector Silva is sent to the area to confirm the verdict of suicide and retrieve the body. Meanwhile his Sergeant Prasanna is going through a crisis.
An enjoyable mystery, a well-written story with its very likeable characters.
