There is some undefined danger in the life of Sheridan, the 11th Earl of Devlin. But before he can confide in his brother Jackson Rafferty, he is killed. But Rafferty has a plan to get inside Baron Kingston's home and discover the evidence that the Baron killed his brother.
But the Baron is in hiding. What plan does her stepmother Eleanor and Eleanor's brother have for Jenevieve Kingston,and why. Can Jenevieve and Jackson every come to trust each other. Didn't really take to Jenna, her character or her actions. Certainly not enough mystery for me.
Overall an enjoyable Victorian romance mystery
