Miss Beatrice Sands has been recruited as an enquiry agent to help Dante on his latest case. Can they together lay to rest the guilt he carries. Soon all Gentlemen of the Order are involved in the case of finding the truth in the past of Dante and Beatrice.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery. Another good addition to the series with its likeable characters.
