November 1147. Gareth and Gwen have been called to Bristol Castle by Prince Henry, son of the Empress Maud. As he believes his half uncle Robert, Earl of Gloucester was murdered. Then within a couple of days his valet and wife died. On their arrival the steward has now been killed.
Another entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its group of likeable characters. A good addition to the series
