In this P&P variation, post Hunsford proposal, Lydia Bennet goes to Brighton but is accompanied by Elizabeth. Meanwhile the Bingleys and Darcy with the Hursts also arrive, so that they can meet the gentleman who Caroline is interested in. Of course they meet, but has Darcy been a coward and not informed Bingley of Jane's regard. An off canon Lydia makes her more likeable.
