Stuart Alford due to the death of his elder twin has inherited the family estate and his two young nieces. Past events have made him determined never to marry. Meanwhile Mary Bennet has been staying at Pemberley and has befriended the two young nieces.
A delightful and entertaining well-written Pride and Prejudice sequel, with its lovely characters. Although part of a series it can easily be read as a standalone story.
