Cape Breton. Newly arrived resident German Gretha Braun is renovating her house - Heritage House on the Isle Madame. But it would seem that she has upset someone enough that she is found murdered. But why and by whom.
Detective Roxanne Albright is put in charge, her first time as lead, instead of Cordie MacLean. Will this lead to conflict between them or can they solve the mystery together.
An entertaining modern mystery with its likeable and interesting main chapters. A good addition to this series which can easily be read as a standalone story.
