The Enterprise arrived at Vulcan because of injury to a crew member. There is hope that a new eperimental procedure at the Academy Hospital would cure him. The same procedure that Spock's mother Amanda is undergoing. But then one of the patients dies, but why. Kirk starts to believe it is murder and investigates.
As with the first time of reading the guilty party is very obvious but still an enjoyable re-read.

An entertaing and well-written historical mystery with its likeable main characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series which can easily be read as a standalone story.

A well-written and entertaining story about my two favourite characters from P&P. Another enjoyable re-read, again

In this Pride & Prejudice Variation Lady Catherine has a plan, in fact she has had this plan for many years. But can it succeed. She will need the help of the Colonel, but will he be a help or a hindrance. Can she make Darcy marry the women she has chosen. Loved this version of Lady Catherine.
An entertaining and well-written variation. I enjoyed re-reading the story again. And again.

1861. The Thorncroft Estate in Shropshire is experiencing a busy time, with the archaeological dig with its influx of professorss and students. Coupled with harvest time, and the new housekeeper on probation. But there seems to be a series of small incidents but which result in a theft, an injury and a death. Can the Rowsleys solve the mysteries.
An enjoyable and well-written historical mystery with its cast of likeable and varied characters. Another good addition to this entertaining series.

An entertaining and well-written modern mystery with its cast of likeable and varied characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.

A well-written and extremely entertaining variation, with its surprising likeable main character.

In this Pride & Prejudice sequel, with Jane and Elizabeth nearly married Mrs Bennet turns her attentions to Kitty. As obviously Mary has lost any chance of marriage when she didn't catch Mr. Collins. But Mary has friends on her side, so can she find her happy ending.
Loved this well-written story, it was wonderful to read Mary's tale, and I really liked the new characters that were introduced.
Another enjoyable re-read. Again

In this Pride & Prejudice variation Darcy and the Bingleys are spending time at Netherfield. But as Darcy leaves the area he informs Elizabeth that the vast difference in their social standing prevents them being anything then friends. Elizabeth angry at the statement agrees, not informing him that she and her sisters are now duke's daughters. How will each of Bennet family respond to their elevated standing, will their be happening endings for any of them. It is such a shame that once again Darcy does not get his comeuppance as he is such an arrogant hypocrite.
An entertaining and well-written story. An enjoyable re-read. Again, though I would have preferred more about Mary Bennet as she had more to change then the eldest two.

In this variation Mary Bennet is visiting her godmother and aunt, Lady Watts, when she meets Georgiana Darcy in a bookshop and they become friends. Mary believing that Darcy and Elizabeth would be suited contrives to invite Elizabeth to London. But not all is smooth to that happy ending.
Is this variation there is no Caroline Bingley or Mr. Collins, but there is Wickham and his deeds.
An enjoyable story. Read the re-write.

In this Pride and Prejudice variation after many traumatic events Elizabeth and Mary Bennet met Darcy and the Colonel in India. From there their adventure continues.
First the positive points - The story has my favourite pairing, and secondly I liked the story. For that I have given it 3 stars.
But the execution of the story was not good, it needs editing and proofreading. Though I did manage to read it again. and again, so this time it gets 4 stars.

A well-written and entertaining modern Welsh mystery with its cast of likeable and varied characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.

Due to an unfortunate accident Darcy and Elizabeth are now betrothed, but they agree that they will keep secret that it is a pretend engagement until all her sisters are married. Will this be possible.
An entertaining and well-written variation, but I would have liked more about Mary and her first meeting with the Colonel, and Anne de Bourgh.

In this Pride and Prejudice variation Colonel Fitzwilliam is peruaded to marry Anne de Bourgh but the marriage is a failure and he returns to duty. But after Anne and Lady Catherine have died the Colonel returns from the wars to run Rosings, a broken man. Can he find his happiness like his friends who have married Bennet sisters.
Although the story need a lot of editing and proofreading I enjoyed the story and of course the pairing of the Colonel. Another enjoyable re-read. Again.

An entertaining and well-written story, with a cast of likeable and interesting characters.
Another delightful re-read, again.

On seeing a home guard man killed she starts to investigate that death, but finds a connection to Novak. Unfortunately she is not really that good at the job, and forgets the adage, 'trust no one'. But there will be more deaths.
Overall an enjoyable histroical mystery and hopefully as the series develops she will obtain some street intelligence.
