The Icehouse: A Lancashire Detective Mystery by J.J. Richards
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Rufford, Lancashire. DCI Jonathan Walker is recalled from sick leave when a body of a male is discovered in an abandoned icehouse. But he believes that there are similarities between this case and one from the 1980s. That of his sister. Will he finally be able to solve that case. Then another murder occurs. Will this be the end, if only they could find a motive. Walker and his team investigate.
An entertaining and well-written modern mystery with its varied and likeable characters. A good start to this new series.
