1831 Lucius Daventry has the need of two experts, Christian Chance and Isabella Lawton, to determine if artifacts in the British Museum are fakes. But isabella is the daughter of the family's sworn enemy. While she is trying to escape but not just her father. What will they uncover in their investigations. More than they expected.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery and romance, with its likeable and varied characters. A good start to this new series. Though there is mature content.
