1924 Every Valentine Day Lady Rose Bancroft of Bancroft Hall holds a house party and ball. This year there was a duel resulting in one dead and the other injured. Major Lennox and Inspector Swift are called in by Scotland Yard to investigate.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery withits likeable main characters. Another good addition to this very enjoyable series.
