1822. As King George IV is visiting Edinburgh, Holyroodhouse is being cleared of its pensioners. But a body of one of them is discovered. As Charles Murray is visiting he is assigned the task of finding the killer. But then there is another death.
An entertining and well-written historical mystery with its cast of likeable characters. Another enjoyable mystery in this series.
