1937 Wealthy Helena, wife of poor Cedric Davenport has gone missing. The police believe him to be the main suspect, so will Davenport, friend to Misses Hart and Hunter's employer, Dorothy Drew, be charged with her murder. They decide they must ask questions to hopefully clear him.
An entertaining and well-written cozy historical mystery with its cast of likeable characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
