In this variation Mary Bennet is visiting her godmother and aunt, Lady Watts, when she meets Georgiana Darcy in a bookshop and they become friends. Mary believing that Darcy and Elizabeth would be suited contrives to invite Elizabeth to London. But not all is smooth to that happy ending.
Is this variation there is no Caroline Bingley or Mr. Collins, but there is Wickham and his deeds.
