Peter Parsons, BBC prodcuer turns to his childhood home on the island of Kersivay. Only for a body to be discovered the next day. With an escapee from the local prison for the mentally insane assumed to be the suspected murderer. But there is an evil on the island, and can Parsons find the guilty party.
An enjoyable mystery written in 1962.
