Lord Valentine is all set to duel over Lady Durrant with Jonathan Kendall when instead a young female turns up in his place. Strong willed, intelligent Miss Ava Kendall sees her role as protecting her brother. The initial attraction between Ava and Valentine, with the help of some friends, can only lead to adventure, mystery and passion.
This third in the series is another very enjoyable story. A well-written tale with likeable characters.
