Murder Among Friends by Janice Frost

Jane Bell is on her first night patrol as a SPC when she discovers a body. DI Stephanie Warwick is in charge of the investigation, but she has already been irritated with Bell. This attitude get worse as Warwick becomes increasingly annoyed at what she perceives as Bell's interference in the case.
But will this be the first and last death. What could be the motive.
An interesting and well-written crime story. A good start to the series, though I am not too sure about the main two female characters and their likeability.
