The Case of the Bourbon Street Hustler by Gene Poschman
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
1930s. Jonas Watcher is in New Orleans looking into the alleged death of painter Martin Stanton. Hired by old Mr Stanton. In his investigation he is helped by Lt David Sanders of the SFPD and his wife Betty.
Enjoyable though the story probably would have been more enlighting if I had read Book 1
