The Mother's Day Mystery: A Crampton of the Chronicle adventure by Peter Bartram
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1965 After Colin Crampton has given a talk at Steyning he is driving his girlfriend Shirley Goldsmith back home along a lonely country road when they discover the body of a teenage boy. Is this a hit and run accident, or deliberate act and if so what could be the motive. Crampton decides this is news worthy and investigates when the police refuse to do so.
An enjoyable cozy mystery.
