Murder in St. Giles by Ashley Gardner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
London, 1819 and Brewster demands that Captain Lacey accompany him to the scene of a crime in St. Giles, that of the death of a boxer. Meanwhile his wife Donata’s cousins are determined to take charge of Peter, her son.
A very enjoyable mystery as I have come to expect in this well-written series, with its mix of flawed but likeable characters. Highly recommend the whole series.
