A young man's body has been found, burnt and mutilated. The case is given to DCI Rachel King and her team to investigate.
This is a well-written mystery, I enjoyed that part of the story. What I didn't care much for was the character of King, her family and all the attached personal problems. My reading of any more in the series will depend how much of her personal life is involved in any stories.
