Mr. Darcy's Perfect Match: A Pride & Prejudice Variation by Kelly Miller

This P&P variation begins just after the Hunsford proposal. While back in London and unhappy Darcy is pleased to see Georgiana in better humuor as it seems she has made a friend in a Miss Hester Drake. Who according to Lady Matlock is the perfect match for Darcy. Meanwhile at the Gardiners, Elizabeth sees how unhappy Jane is and asks a favour of her uncle - can he send a letter to Bingley explaining certain facts.
In this story Bingley grew on me as his character matured. Once again the Fitzwilliam brothers are more interesting characters than Darcy. A 4 star rating until the Epilogue, oh why pair Mary as the author did, a disappointment.
