DEAD SORRY by Helen H. Durrant
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Is an old Calladine case from twenty-five years ago of a missing schoolgirl, linked to a murder on the Hobfield estate, of Rebecca O'Brien. With the spectre of Lazarov still lurking Calladine is trying to keep his family safe, but why is he not more suspicious of new acquaintances. Then Lazarov starts putting the pressure on Calladine coupled with more personal problems puts a strain on him. Can he and his team solve the murder, will their be more, and what is the possible motive. Secrets are there to be discovered.
An entertaining modern crime story, a good addition to the series.
An ARC was provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
