November 1943. Jack Ryder is approached by the FBI to kill a Nazi, an Anerican citizen. It must be done publically and for Ryder’s sake for him not to be caught. Meanwhile a client wants him to find a woman he saw at a railway station and fell in love with. Later he meets an emotionally damaged veteran who he tried to help.
