Prince Darcy: A Pride and Prejudice Variation by Allison Smith

Prince Darcy of Derbyshire arrives in Hertfordshire to retrieve a ring that Wickham has stolen. A ring he needs to marry. There he encounters Elizabeth Bennet, one of two daughters from the first Mrs Bennet, with her three half sisters and stepmother. But Bennet is dead and Collins is in charge. It would have mean a more entertaining story to have Mary's character developed.
The story hints towards Cinderella but I found Elizabeth to be just too annoying.
Overall an enjoyable variation
