Oliver Redcastle while residing in New Mexico receives an urgent request from Marietta Prock, mother of their 14 year old daughter Chloe. Her husband Rufus Prock has been found dead and she is suspected of his death. On arriving back in London there are added complications and another death. Can Oliver save Marietta from jail and find the real killers.
An entertaining well-written historical mystery, with some likeable and interesting characters though definately not Marietta
