1. The Adventure of the Giant’s Hand - 1894. Inspector Hopkins needs the help of Holmes as Stanislaus Addleton has disappeared from his home in Fairdale, Cornwall.
2. The Adventure of the York Place Prophecy - 1889. The Reverand Alistair Craddock approached Dr Watson, and then Holmes because he has been attacked several times by parishioner Colonel Jeremiah Earburton. He fears the Colonel has gone insane.
3. The Adventure of the Hollow Bank - Old friend McGregor Abernetty invites Dr Watson and Holmes to his home at Hollow Bank, Wiltshire. The first week is peaceful, then a murder occurs.
