The Yeoman's Tale (Geoffrey Chaucer #2)The Yeoman's Tale by M.J. Trow
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

June 1381. Chaucer and his fellow pilgrams are travelling to Canterbury but have had to turn back due to the army of peasants (The Peasants Revolt) and some are now holed up in the Tabard Inn waiting for the horde to arrive. Meanwhile Chaucer is investigating the death of two people, both murders.
More of a historical fiction story than a historical mystery, though still an enjoyable and well-written read.
An ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
