A Scandalous Deception by Lynn Messina
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Beatrice Hyde-Clare was visiting the London Daily Gazette when Earl of Fazeley falls down dead with a knife in his back in front of her. She and the Duke of Kesgrave investigate.
Overall an enjoyable historical mystery
(Sidewalks don't exist in Regency England, but pavements do)
