Sixty years have passed since Bilbo Baggins returned to the Shire, now at his 111 birthday party he disappears leaving all of his possessions to his nephew Frodo including the ring. Twenty years later it is now the time for Frodo's adventure.
A delightful and well-written story. Another re-read.
