The Waxwork Man by J.C. Briggs
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
London 1851. Charles Dickens is persuaded by judge Fabian Quarterman to view his collection of waxwork woman. The next day he is found dead, frightened to death and the waxworks missings.
Dickens and Superintendent Jones investigate.
An entertaining historical mystery with ist likeable main characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
