1941 At a local factory in Ashcroft where parts are made for spitfire planes, one of the security guards is murdered. Why? What had he found? Also a spitfire plane recently crashed, for reasons unknown. Inspector Nigel Brewster and the Homefront Sleuths all help in the investigation.
An entertaining cozy historical mystery. Well-written and with its cast of likeable and interesting characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series
