1944. The Dunlop Rubber company has been subject to the theft of a trophy, the theft of secret papers and classified papers, and to round off the morning the illegal release of a barrage balloon with two people attached to the chain. Chief inspector Sam Mason and his team investigate.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series
