1948 After disappearing two years ago Stan Miller returns to Westleham with two friends, ready to make amends for wrongs he committed before he left. When he is murdered several suspects come to light. Martha is determine to find the killer by asking questions, even if that puts her in danger.
An entertaining and well-written historical cozy mystery with its cast of likeable characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
