1849 While out on a picnic Thomas Rufford and his wife Phyllis discover the body of a young female. Meanwhile his friend Mrs Campbell in her newly acquired inn discovers s statement which leads to two skeletons of more than 100 years old. But life gets worse for Rufford when his past comes back to haunt him.
An enjoyable historical mystery
