Rose Fleming has escaped her home and been presumed dead, leaving her dead family behind except her Aunt Helen, and the man she loves MacAllister Campbell. Now ten years later she appears in London. But the man who she escaped from has her in his sights again, but still does not know what he wants from her. Who can she trust.
Though fourth in the series the book can easily be read as a standalone story, even though the characters from the previous books to make an appearance and contribute to the story.
An enjoyable and fun, well-written mystery/thriller with some romance in the story. As with the other books in the series the main couple are a likeable pair.
