Detective Inspector Solomon is called away from a raid on an illegal cannabis farm to investigate a stabbing. A burglar was disturbed by the householder and stabbed. A man who was just protecting his property and his family. Tensions in the area increase when the burglar is identified as a traveller, living illegally nearby, and not helped by pro-European protesters trying to reverse the decision of the majority of the electorate. Unfortunately Gary has his own personal problems to contend with.
An interesting story, though not a murder mystery one.
