In this third book of the series Jane Armitage receives a note from an old schoolfriend, Agnes Fanshawe, who is helping an opera dancer, Floradora d'Ambrose aka Jemina Harris, to become enough of a lady to wed a wealthy man. Unfortunately this gentleman has been killed and Jane and Caleb must determine the murderer.
Enjoyable re-read.
