In this P&P variation it is 1930s California. As Mrs Bennet is determined that Jane will be an actress they have moved from England to Hollywood. Where they are invited to a polo match and meet Bingley and Darcy. The pair are interested in making a film called 'First Impressions', a film set in England, and probably casting an unknown female lead.
Fast paced story, enjoyable enough though at times somewhat stilted.
