Night Train to Paris by Fliss Chester
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
October 1945. Fen is travelling to Paris to stay with old friend, artist Rose Coillard, along with Captain James Lancaster. But when Rose is murdered Fen decides to unravel the truth of Rose's work during the war, and find her killer. If the motive is hidden in the war years, with many dead who can help her, especially when there is another killing. Although the Captain helps he is distracted by his new love.
Another entertaining well-written historical mystery with its slow build towards the climax. With its very likeable and well-drawn main characters.
