Bag of Bones by Jason Vail
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
July 1264 Ludlow. The bones of two men have been found north of the town. Newly appointed coroner Sir Stephen Attebrook doesn't believe the accused, Will Thumper, is guilty of the merchant Kembold and his bodyguard Faget deaths
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery. Another good addition to this enjoyable series with its cast of varied and likeable characters.
