Fraternity of Brothers: A novel about the redemptive power of friendship by Marina Pacheco
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
996 A.D. Abbey of Yarmwick, The Fens, Enga-lond. 15 year old scribe Brother Galen is an outcast in the community because of a crime committed against him and the resulting suspicions. Will his life improve when renowned illustrator Alcuin joins the Abbey, and face and possibly overome his greatest fear.
An interesting, well-written and entertaining story of friendship with just a hint of mystery. A good start to this new series with its cast of varied characters.
I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author via Voracious Readers Only and am voluntarily leaving a review.
