1886. With her husband dead and with threats directed at her, Mrs Lucy Lawrence decides to take up her family's offer of spending Christmas with them at Somerville Hall. Where her life gets even worse. Insurance investigator Phineas Stone comes to her aid.
A pity the story and probably the series concentrates on Lucy instead of Stone.
