A Pride and Prejudice sequel. October 1813. Mary Bennet is travelling from Pemberley to Longbourn, accompanied by Alexander Lyon. On route they are staying at friend of his, when he is approached by Edmund Bertram to discover the location of his missing brother Tom. To this end he and Mary reside at Mansfield Park, the home of the absent Sir Thomas Bertram. But then a body is discovered, more than one. What could be the motive behind the killings and at the instigation of whom.
An entertaining, well-written and well-plotted historical mystery with its many likeable characters. Another good addition to the series which can be read as a standalone story.
Another enjoyable re-read.
