In this Pride and Prejudice variation events lead up to the evening at Lucas Lodge. There Darcy has an impetuous moment and seals his and Elizabeth Bennet's fate when he kisses her. For once Collins turned out to be quite a decent sort of man, unlike Darcy, which probably spells disaster for Mary Bennet.
Overall an enjoyable story.
