In this Pride and Prejudice variation, Elizabeth Bennet is in mourning, and Darcy is engaged to Caroline Bingley when they meet at the Meryton Assembly. So how can they ever reach a happy ending.
An enjoyable and well-written story which for me only got interesting with a couple of sentences in the epilogue. Another re-read.
