The Dead Letter by Metta Victoria Fuller Victor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1859. While working in the Dead Letter department Richard Redfield comes across a letter lost for two years. Resulting in him reflecting on the events from two years previously, that of the death of Henry Moreland and his meeting with investigator Burton. Back in the present day canthe mystery now be solved. It is fairly obvious who is behind the murder if not who actually committed it.
An entertaining historical mystery.
